A year ago today Boyd Tunnock arrived in St Abbs for the first time, to see for himself the lifeboat named after his grandfather and late brother.
As an avid sailor, he didn't take much persuading to go out with our experienced crew to see the stunning but treacherous coastline that we look after.
A year on, this small community remains very grateful to everyone for the support and generosity which helped us put a lifeboat back in St Abbs, and to those who continue to support us with donations and fundraising today.
We will inevitably add to the 230 lives saved since 1911...thank you all
Some photos from our trip to Lochaline to dive the Sound of Mull. Thank you to Callum, Faith, Lorne and Neil of the Lochaline Dive Centre and Sound Diver. Also thanks to our new dive buddy's, Ben, Barry and Levi! ...
